Spanish (Grade 9-12)

Spanish 9th-12th:

We will follow along with the book's topics and personalize each student's materials and demand to acquire a level of either Spanish 1 or 2. Class is immersive and focused on the 4 main aspects of language acquisition (listening, reading, writing, and speaking) giving each student their at-level learning.

Student's knowledge will be enriched by approaching Spanish through peer interactions, music & song, worksheets, games, etc. Students will have opportunities to experience the language in different learning styles (visual, kinesthetic, auditory, etc.).

By the end of the second semester, students will have the skills of a person who is constantly enriching his/her knowledge in another language and culture. The students will be open to understanding other languages and, at their level, to understand and communicate confidently in Spanish.
Materials needed for class: Pencil with eraser, crayons to color, folder to keep worksheets given in class organized (which are used during the school year) and notebook for class notes.
