Spanish 7th-8th grade
Students build up their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills (become comfortable manipulating Spanish), practice speaking and basic writing and reading skills through games, music, coloring, through songs and games. By the end of the second semester, the students will have cardinal and ordinal number knowledge, basic to intermediate vocabulary words, basic verbs in present and past, grammar and structure. Will also understand and speak basic everyday commands. Introduction to future tense.
Materials Needed: Pencil with eraser, crayons to color, folder to keep worksheets given in class organized (which are used during the school year) and notebook for class notes.
Book: Carson Dellosa Spanish I (first semester) & II (second semester) Skills builder 6-8 paperback. (Inquire with your Charter School if they have it in their resource center).
