Students in Musical History Drama will have the opportunity to create some of their own costumes and accessories. They will learn about the eras and the cultures of the people they are becoming in the show. Students will learn to sew on a sewing machine, hand sew, craft, and design. This will not cover all the costuming, but a good portion of it.
Materials Needed
Sewing machine (Singer, Brother, Baby Lock, and Janome are approved brands)
Pincushion and Pins
White all-purpose thread (and bobbin)
Black all-purpose thread (and bobbin)
Measuring tape
Water-soluble marker/Tailor's chalk/water-soluble pencil
Seam ripper
Fabric scissors
