In beginning guitar, we will cover the basics of the guitar. This class is meant for those with little to no experience with guitar. We will learn the anatomy of the guitar, tuning, reading tabs, reading notes (basics only), and then dive into learning how to play chords and play rhythm guitar.
*** Because of the physical nature of the guitar (strings hurt the fingers and they take strength to press down), I recommend a child be in 5th grade and up before starting guitar. If you have questions or would like to schedule an assessment for readiness please reach out.
