Students in this class will learn how to do a stait stitch, zigzag stitch, and several other useful sewing skills. They will be able to choose whether to use the wrong and right sides of fabric, create design schemes, turn fabric inside out, and think creatively. This course is meant to establish essential machine sewing skills and a lifelong love of the art

Black all-purpose thread (and bobbin)
Measuring tape
Water-soluble marker/Tailor's chalk/water-soluble pencil
