In this class, we will engage in various art projects using a variety of media. This is a workshop class that is meant to give your student an opportunity to engage with high-quality art materials and forms, including ceramic sculpture (hand-built) and throwing (pottery) on the wheel, acrylic and watercolor paint, and sketch techniques including pencil, charcoal and ink.
For my more advanced students, we will begin with a new Artistic Commission program this year. Students will draw up a design and pitch a commission to me using the available media in class. Students will then have a deadline to complete it based on their bid.
